How to Qualify: Step Into the Spotlight
To secure a place in the GTCC, players must first compete in the Tongits Multi-Table Qualifier happening on gzone.ph from April 25 to May 16. This qualifier is open to all registered GameZone users, offering both veterans and first-time players a level playing field.
Participants receive free starting chips to ensure fairness and inclusivity. Each day features rounds where players can win cash prizes and leaderboard points, testing their strategy, focus, and quick decision-making skills.
The objective: climb the leaderboard. The top 135 performers, to be announced on May 27, will move forward to the GTCC main tournament.
Tournament Format: A Journey to the Championship
Elimination Phase: Battle of the Groups
The tournament begins with 135 players split into three groups — Groups A, B, and C, each containing 45 players. They will engage in three 20-round matches, where only the top 84 will move on to the next stage.
Promotional Phase: Upper and Lower Bracket Trials
In the second stage, the 84 remaining players are divided into 28 smaller groups. Based on performance, they are placed in two brackets:
- Top 30 players go to the upper bracket
- Remaining 54 are placed in the lower bracket
This system maintains competitiveness and balance. From here, only nine players will qualify for the semifinals — five from the upper bracket and four from the lower bracket.
Semifinals and Grand Finals: The Ultimate Face-Off
The semifinal round features a 60-round battle among the nine finalists. This stage demands endurance, advanced gameplay, and mental resilience.
After this round, the final three players advance to the Grand Finals, which totals 100 rounds — composed of the 60 semifinal rounds plus 40 final rounds.
- Champion takes home ₱5,000,000
- Second place wins ₱1,000,000
- Third place earns ₱488,000
